What are Gospel Labs?

Gospel Labs are customised and contextualised workshops/trainings that involve leaders and members of  local churches or organisations in exploring ways for realigment or development.

Why Gospel Labs?

Meet the Trainers

Massimo Gei

ELDER AND CHURCH PLANTER
Massimo is from a mixed Malaysian and Italian background and is married to Gloria. He is passionate about ministering to young professionals and desire to help them find and live out their faith in Jesus in this culturally diverse, money driven, and spiritually complex city.

Kyle Essary

LECTURER AND CHURCH PLANTER
Dr. Kyle Essary grew up in the US and has lived in Yemen, China, and Malaysia. He is married to Jamie with four children born in Malaysia! He serves as a lecturer in biblical studies for four seminaries in SE Asia. He was the church planting pastor of Covenant Baptist Church in Melaka.

Anand Mahadevan

AUTHOR, CHURCH PLANTER, BUSINESS JOURNALIST
Anand is the lead planter at New City Church, Mumbai. He has served as a business journalist and editor with leading newspapers and magazines for 25 years and  currently consults for The Economic Times.He is also one of the founders of The Gospel Coalition India Anand is married to Ajitha and they have two teen-aged children Varun and Varsha. Christopher Lim

CHURCH PLANTER, LEAD PASTOR
Christopher Lim sits on the board of Gospel City Network and a graduate from Malaysian Baptist Theological Seminary, assessed and trained for church planting by Gospel City Network and City to City Asia Pacific.

He serves as a leading pastor at New Covenant City Church in Penang, where he lives with his wife, Eileen, and their son, Jonah.
